Randolph High School educator Sybil Sánchez is one of our amazing teachers educating our students about the Spanish language and culture. 

Ms. Sánchez is a teacher and researcher at the University of Salamanca in Spain.

During her career she has kept up with the latest advances in teaching, learning, and acquiring a foreign language.

She studied abroad at Brookdale Community College, NJ (1994) and NSE National Spanish Exam (2015).

Ms. Sánchez wants students to embrace their ethnic cultural identities.  

Every American has ancestors who have immigrated from somewhere else in the world. 

By teaching Spanish, she felt she could become a cultural ambassador for both the language and the customs and traditions of Hispanic and Latinx people. 

Ms. Sánchez is an active member of the AATSP, and she is currently the President of the New Jersey Chapter.  

She is also serving on the National AATSP Board of Directors as a Secondary (9-12th) Representative which she began in January of 2022.
