Pop star Billie Eilish has recently dished about the “embarrassing encounter” with the British royal family in an interview with the radio on Wednesday.
In the words of Daily Mail, the Bad Guy singer-songwriter spoke on Nova’s morning talk show Fitzy & Wippa that it was during the No Time To Die premier in London and in the “presence of a then-Prince Charles, his wife Camilla, Prince William and Kate Middleton”.
Billie stated that she’d gone through every “royal protocol” to how to behave with respect to the British royals and was taught the art of “curtsying”, however, “it all went out the window upon meeting them”.
“They all walked in and were like, ‘What’s up, how are you, how’s it going?’ and I was like, ‘Oh my God,'” commented the 20-year-old.
The singer-songwriter was shocked to discover the extent to which “normal they all were” and the friendly interaction eased her mind.
Prior to this interview, Billie also spoke about her Royal experience on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show in October of last year.
“They were just so normal. They didn’t make me feel like, ‘oh, I’m scared, I can’t talk to them,” The singer noted.
Billie added that they were impressed with her and had “all these questions” for her.
“I can’t complain, it was amazing,” she added.
